Orchy was established in the 1950’s by United Dairies and was acquired shortly after by an Australian entrepreneur named Keith Harris with fruit grown near Gosford, Orchy was the first freshly squeezed orange juice available in Australia and quickly became a trusted household name.
In the 1970’s one of Australia’s oldest dairies, The Mudgee Dairy Company (established in 1876) created Macquarie Valley Juices utilising fruit from the famous Narromine orange orchards.
The Mudgee Dairy Company (by then known as Bevco) acquired Orchy in 2004 and consolidated the Orchy and Macquarie Valley brands in a single manufacturing facility in South Brisbane.
Available nationally, both Orchy & Macquarie Valley juices are iconic brands that hold a special place in the hearts and minds of millions of Australians.
